At Sol Baby, our philosophy is simple. We offer cool, unique, funky fashions for small peeps -- stuff that you can't find everywhere, and in some cases, nowhere else. Sol Baby is "for babies with soul" ...

In March of 2006, when Sol Baby opened its doors, a long-time dream became a reality. In one of the last remaining cool, old vintage buildings in Hermosa Beach, California Sol Baby was born. Tucked away in a little alcove off the walk street, between Hermosa Avenue and the beach, the finest mini-duds await...Sometimes when things are a little harder to find, you find the harder to find little things. We love our little spot and our customers seem to dig it too!

As of April 1, 2009 - Sol Baby has moved! After a great stay on Hermosa Ave, we've outgrown our little space and are now located at 124 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach California 90254.

Hip, soulful kids are the result of hip, soulful mommies and daddies. If you're like us; love of life and nature, peace on earth, music and the sun shining are all things that move, inspire and influence you. We try to buy items that embody those feelings. Whether it's funky, cheeky, edgy, rockin', trendy, hip or just plain adorable, it has a place at Sol Baby. Let's face it, it's good fun to choose the perfect little item that reflects your sense of style with your kid's personality. They'll have the rest of their lives to dress themselves, right? It's our turn now.

A space this small can only house the best of the best, coolest of the cool. Being a small business, we try and seek out and support the smaller, up and coming, independent designers and brands thereby giving our customers unique, hard to find fashions for gifts or their own children. We also try and limit the quantities we buy so that the likelihood of your kid having the same outfit as his or her playmate is pretty slim.

Originality - that's a nice thought in this world of mass-produced stuff don't you think? We will do everything in our power to make sure you have a positive shopping experience.
